About Ranjani Ratnam....
Born in Fiji to an Indian family, Ranjani absorbed the Eastern traditions and philosophies of the Indian culture. Guided Meditation was part of her background.
In these early years she was exposed also to the local Fijian culture and to the exotic nature of the Chinese and European populations which had settled in her tropical paradise. After high school graduation she looked to the wider world for further education. Her generation of cousins was moving to India, England, the United States, New Zealand and Australia. Ranjani chose Australia and undertook an MBBS in Medicine at Monash University.
Although her dedication to western medicine was exacting, her interest soon expanded to include the philosophies of her earlier years. These philosophies integrated the physical, emotional and mental states. After more than 20 years as a general practitioner, Ranjani left her practice to pursue fulltime the holistic approach to health and well-being.
Over the last 15 years, Ranjani, has travelled within Australia exploring approaches to alternative medicine and spent six months in the United States, where the fledgling mind-body field had gained considerable acceptance. She pursued training in a range of therapies, which included Basic and Advanced Emotional Freedom Technique, Primordial Sound Meditation, Advanced Meditation, Intuitive Healing, Energy Healing, Breath Work, Past Life Regression, and Music & Guided Imagery.
She earned additional qualifications, which included a Certificate in Mind-Body Medicine from Harvard University, and a Master Practitioner Certificate in Neural Repatterning, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnotherapy, Reikki and Seichim. Not least of all her qualifications is her passion for her profession.
These qualifications, together with her medical and cultural background , place Ranjani in a unique position to offer a professional perspective integrating Eastern and Western practices and philosophies, including Guided Meditation for healthy solutions.
